Blind corners occur in warehouses, parking areas, driveways and service routes wherever walls, racking or buildings interrupt a direct line of sight. A convex mirror can widen the visible scene, but useful results depend on selecting an appropriate diameter and aiming the mirror from the actual decision points used on site.

Survey the blind spot before choosing a mirror

Stand where drivers, equipment operators or pedestrians normally decide whether to proceed. Record what blocks the view, the distance to the hidden route, typical approach directions and expected users. A convex mirror is a visibility aid. It should complement—not replace—site rules, speed control, floor markings, signs, lighting, audible warnings or right-of-way arrangements.
